Nebraska Lasers Programs

The Nebraska Laser organization consists of three separate seasons and a summer skills program.

Youth 2nd - 8th Winter Season:  Tryouts take place in late August.  Teams will be formed for each age group based on similar abilities.  The winter season takes place from October until late February.  This consists of practices, skill sessions, tournaments, and area leagues.

Youth 2nd - 7th Summer Season:  Tryouts take place in early March. Teams will be formed based on commitment level.  Players that are committed to basketball as first option will practice, attend skill sessions and play in area and regional tournaments.  Players that would like to have basketball as 2nd option will participate in skill sessions, practice and area tournaments.

High School Summer Season:  Tryouts take place in early March for 8th-11th Grade.  Two levels of teams will be formed.  Each age group will have a National Team that competes around the Midwest.  Also, a regional team will be formed for each age group that will participate in Regional Tournaments around the Midwest.  All teams will participate in skill development sessions and attend weekly practices.

Nebraska Laser Summer Skills: Sessions are open to any girls exiting 2nd-8th grade that have a desire to improve their fundamental skills.  These sessions will work on passing, dribbling, shooting, 1 on 1 moves, post moves, basket finishes and incorporate 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 offensive strategies.
