I am forever a Laser.  The Nebraska Lasers program is more than just a basketball program. It helped shape me into the person and player I am today.  Not only did I get to play for a basketball program that allowed me to play multiple sports at the club and high school level but it also gave me opportunities to play basketball at the next level.  But, the most important thing I received from this program was the relationships I built when I wore the Lasers jersey.  I created friendships and bonds with coaches, teammates, and Lasers families that will last a lifetime.  When you look back at your time playing you don't remember the wins and loses, you remember the people and the memories you made with them.  In the Lasers community, I was able to grow my game while I also was growing as a person.  I will continue to give back to this program and I truly believe that it is the best girls basketball program in Nebraska.  Come and be a Nebraska Laser!

The Nebraska Lasers basketball program is one of the best in the state and has shaped me into the player and person I am today.  I began playing with the Lasers as a third-grader, throughout junior high, and then eventually on a traveling summer high school team.  The basketball experience and knowledge that I gained while in the program, which focused on fundamentals and learning about the game, helped me develop the skills that I needed to become a versatile player.  The Lasers are committed to developing your individual skills while teaching spacing, angles, and movements that are so important when playing the game.  All of the coaches that I had truly cared about me as a person and a player and have had a huge impact on my life.  I was also blessed to play with other determined and hardworking girls that will be lifelong friends of mine.  So many of my favorite memories are from road trips with my teammates or team activities we would do when not playing basketball in different cities.  I am very grateful for all of the experiences that the Lasers have brought me and my family, and I would highly encourage any girl who is passionate about basketball to join the program!

Bri Sebek (Lincoln Pius X - 2014-2015) committed to play at Rockhurst University, MO.  "Being part of the Nebraska Lasers basketball program has allowed me to take my basketball game to a whole new level.  I was honored to be part of the program for nine years, starting in third grade all the way through the summer of my senior year of high school.  Not only did I gain life-skills but also life-long friends that I will always be able to count on.  Without the Nebraska Lasers program, I wouldn't have achieved my dreams of playing college basketball.  I am currently playing Division II basketball at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.  This opportunity has allowed me to obtain an amazing education towards my goal of becoming a doctor.  With an experienced coaching staff that is knowledgeable about the game and girls who are dedicated in improving and advancing to the next level, the Laser program allows their athletes to succeed.  The memories I have made with my teammates and coaches will never be forgotten. I am very grateful for these opportunities, friendships, and being a part of such an inspiring club.  I believe the Nebraska Lasers program will allow you to achieve whatever you dream of.  The team I was honored to be a part of with the Nebraska Lasers dreamed of a state title and playing in college. We have achieved both of these and I am proud of all of us.  We are not only teammates, but a family.  A family that makes a girls dreams come true."

Philomena Lammers (Millard West - 2015-2016) committed to play at Concordia, NE.  "The Nebraska Lasers program is an amazing one with phenomenal people and coaches that inspire and help kids grow as people and players.  They are serious about basketball and dedicated to improving individual skills and invested in creating team unity and teaching players how to play on a team. Overall my experience with them in the summer of 2015 before my senior year, I truly believe, extremely benefited me.  I got better as a player, met amazing and fun people, and they gave me the opportunity to showcase my skills to college coaches.  I had a great and unforgettable time with them over the summer!"

Kennedy Sander (Lincoln Pius X - 2014-2015) committed to play at the University of Nebraska - Kearney, NE.  "Choosing to be part of the Nebraska Lasers basketball program was one of the best decisions I have made.  I played with the Lasers from fourth grade all the way through my last summer before my senior year. Throughout my many years, I was pushed to be the best person and player that I could be while making some of the best friends along the way.  They helped me develop me as a player by working on my fundamentals and helped me form a deeper value for hard work and dedication.  The coaches were always fully invested in our team and wanted us to succeed.  I believe that I would not have had the opportunity to play in college without the Lasers.  I made memories that I will remember for a lifetime.  I truly loved my experience!"

Grace Barry (Lincoln East High School Class of 2016) committed to play for the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  "I don’t know where I would be without the Nebraska Lasers Basketball program.  Although I was only a part of the Lasers program for one summer, the short experience I had there was impeccable. The value placed on the importance of great character is the foundation of the program.  This emphasis on the game of basketball being more than just a game is what sets the Lasers program apart from the rest.  Any program out there can teach fundamental skills, but very rarely do you find a program, like the Lasers, that teaches and demonstrates the necessary characteristics for success as a player and as a person.  This emphasis is what lead me to become the best person I can possibly be, on and off the court.  It also helped guide my high school team and I to a state championship.  Additionally, this program gave me an opportunity that I will never be able to thank them enough for.  They gave me the opportunity to play basketball at the collegiate level.  Without Coach Al, his fellow coaches, and the encouragement they demonstrated I would not be where I am today."
